Over by Morrowdale, Oil Painting by D. Haskell Chhuy
Over by Morrowdale, by D. Haskell Chhuy, is a lovely scene of a huntsman with his/her hounds after the hunt. The hounds are satisfied with their morning hunt, and are walking along beside the horseman. An open field in the background, a fence line with its natural growth, and a pond in the foreground complete this bucolic scene of the opening of the Fall Hunt Season.
Over by Morrowdale was painted en plein air. Horses and hounds were added in the studio.
