 Highland Designs is a Virginia based interior design store specializing in furniture, artwork, and accessories for a comfortable home.  Our customers purchase from us for their primary home, for mountain retreats, and for beach cottages.
We have two locations, McGaheysville, VA and Richmond, VA. Come visit us in person or online.

Meet the Owner

Sarah Hopkins Upshur owns and operates Highland Designs.    She has an interior design degree from Virginia Tech and over the years has worked for several top commercial architectural firms, designing interiors for hotels, corporate offices, and private homes.  
She is a professional member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).  
Sarah is excited to now be working in the area of residential design.

She and her very patient husband are proud parents of three grown children.
