Black Master Hunter Boot Lamps
This pair of black leather riding boots were worn by Master Hunter, J. W. Burress of Deep Run Hunt Club in Richmond, Virginia. The brown leather tops were added to the black riding boots when their owner attained the title of Master Hunter; this shows that the owner was highly regarded and quite skilled.
We made these boots into a fine pair of lamps! The boots sit on a slab of black walnut with a "live edge" for a rustic look. Shades are quality linen-like fabric on a solid paper backing.
Lamps have 3 way switches and solid brass finials. We used a 12 foot long cord to accommodate large rooms and infrequent outlets in older homes.
Size: Shade: 18" diameter
Walnut Base: 11" W x 16" D
Height of lamp to top of shade: 33"H
This pair of lamps was auctioned at a Deep Run Hunt Club fundraiser.
