This antique wood Newspaper Stand is a relic of days gone by when a newspaper was thrown to your front door, tightly rolled so it could be thrown from a bicycle.  A homeowner would then hang his newspaper over the stand to let it flatten and uncurl.
Wood pegs in 3 leg base.  Fruitwood, possibly walnut.
