This large platter by H. Alcock & Co. of Cobridge, England is an excellent size.

Interesting Japanese design of silks and fans decorate this platter on a field of dark cream.


Chip on one edge, crack on one side does not affect stability of platter. Overall, darkening of the ivory base on the edges.


Mark on back indicates date of 1891-1910.
