This vintage set of 6 Ladderback dining chairs with rush seats, includes 5 side chairs and 1 arm chair. Four horizontal splats form the back of the chairs; vertical turned supports end in a turned finial.
Back of chairs are slightly inclined, as is shown in one photo, making a very comfortable seat (unlike many rush seat chairs with perfectly straight backs).
Chairs are an attractive medium brown color. Wood is cherry or possibly walnut.
Rush seats are in excellent condition with the exception of one seat in good condition.
Seats have been recently painted with 3 coats of neutral shellac, as is recommended by fine rush seat restoration professionals.
